No snow here

Well only a sprinkling anyway, but it sure is cold - here's me skating on "not" so thin ice

Happy New Year to everybody!
We had a house full of guests for Christmas so very busy – for New Year we had a mixture of guests and friends and family.  We all had an absolutely brilliant time – bonfire and fireworks, laughed till our sides split and got so drunk you would not believe before finally crawling to bed at 3:45 am! Getting up just in time to go to a new years day “ceilidh” (prounounced "Kay Lee" and its a Scottish country dance party) and start all over again. Thank goodness its only once a year!
Have a great New Year and watch out for the weather (no snow here but the ice on the pond is about 5” thick!!
